Most rental websites were built for human browsing, not agent understanding. AI agents need structured facts, photo descriptions, suitability notes, policies, fees, caveats, direct-domain contact routes and confidence signals.
What we are building
OpenStays is a free, zero-commission profile layer for direct-bookable short-term rentals. Profiles are designed to be readable by humans and machines, with public formats including HTML, Markdown, JSON, JSON-LD, OpenAPI and MCP.
Owners stay in control
OpenStays points agents and guests back to the owner or agency domain. There is no OpenStays checkout.
What OpenStays is not
